A Blog Named Hero Celebrate Challenge

Hi there crafting friends!

It’s Linda from A Blog Named Hero here, and I’m excited to be introducing the current challenge we have running.

We want you to CELEBRATE!

We thought we’d run with the festivities that Hero Arts are hosting for their 45th anniversary, so we want to see all your celebration cards! They can be birthday, anniversary, achievement, whatever you like, so long as it’s CELEBRATORY!

Here is my card:

I thought it would be fun to incorporate one of my oldest Hero Arts stamps (“Old Letter Writing”), which was one of my first purchases when I started crafting! I saw Jennifer McGuire use it and fell madly in love.

I combined it with a brand new Anniversary Fancy Die (releasing in the Hero Arts store this Wednesday!), and the gorgeous kitten from Curious Cat.

The card base is Hero Hues Premium Cardstock created from Pebble, the sentiment strip is Nautical and the anniversary diecut is Azalea. How gorgeous is this cardstock?! I can’t get enough!

The kitten was stamped and then watercolored with a mixture of Hero Arts Liquid Watercolours—I used Strawberry, Dandelion and Deep Ocean—I love how you can make any colour you want with some mixing fun It's like making potions when we were kids!

I do hope you like it, I had fun making it!

We hope to see you over at A Blog Named Hero for the challenge.

Crafty Hugs,

Linda
