A Blog Named Hero - Christmas in July Challenge

Hi there crafty peeps! It’s Linda from A Blog Named Hero, and I’m bringing you some Christmas In July goodness today!
It’s never too early to start prepping your Christmas cards, so this month we’ll be inspiring you to get going!

I thought it would be fun to turn the hot air balloons from Sky’s the Limit Balloons stamp set, into Christmas baubles. I coloured them up with Copics and got them all glittery with a Gelly roll pen.

I then used an old sentiment stamp set (you could use any of the newer ones!) and stamped it repeatedly over the background in a tone on tone effect.

For the main sentiment I found Merry Christmas Messages in my box of tricks and used the lovely words from that!

I love the sparkle.

I hope you’ll join us on the blog, and enter your projects between now and August 10th for a chance to win a gift card from Hero Arts, our wonderful sponsors!!

Thanks so much for stopping by. Merry Christmas In July!

Linda

Vickie Hawkins,

I love that someone thought of using “The Sky’s The Limit” as Christmas ornaments, Ingenious! This card makes me think that I really need to use more patterned paper as it looks great on here. Thanks for being there, Hero Arts. You’re the best.

Patricia Wilson,

What a great idea! I am always looking for new ways to use my old favorites!
