Happy Birthday Using All of the Things!

Hi there! Emily Midgett here with you today, and I've got some springy birthday inspiration using not one, but three stamp sets from the latest My Monthly Hero add-ons! I love that these stamps work so beautifully together to create some really darling and festive projects. Let's get started with the details!

Today's card focuses on images from Time For Cake, Festive Balloon, and Surprise Gift! I began by stamping the gift, cupcake, and balloons on some white Copic-friendly cardstock using Intens-ified Black ink, then used my Copic markers in pretty shades of peachy pink, cobalt blue, and pale gray to add coordinating color to all of the images for a festive birthday celebration! After I'd stamped and colored all of the images, I used the coordinating frame cuts from Time For Cake, Festive Balloon, and Surprise Gift.

Next, I used the tassel images from the Festive Balloon stamp set to stamp some coordinating garland on a white A2 card base using Blue Hawaii, Taffy, and Thistle Hero Hues Reactive Inks. I also blended Blue Hawaii ink on the top of the card base to add a bit of color to the background. I filled in some of the bare spots with a few bits of ribbon from Festive Balloon, too.

Finally, I added the die cut elements to the card front using a combination of Precision Glue and foam adhesive for extra dimension. Super fun and lots of color, make for a festive birthday card!

Well, that's all for me today. I hope I've given you some inspiration to combine your stamp sets... you never know what you'll come up with! Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a marvelous day!
