Hot Foiled Snowflake Background

Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I'm sharing a card made with the beautiful Three Snowflakes Hot Foil Plate set. These snowflakes are so pretty!

I started by positioning the three snowflake hot foil plates and a 4.25" x 5.5" panel of Lapis cardstock onto a Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil system and followed the system's instructions to hot foil the snowflakes using Speckled Prism hot foil.

Next, I adjusted the positioning of the snowflakes to fill in the empty areas of the panel and hot foiled again. Then I used a die from the Infinity Rectangles die set to trim the panel down to about 3" x 4.25".

Using foam tape, I adhered the hot foiled panel to a roughly 4" x 5.25" panel of Dove White cardstock which I then glued to a 4.25" x 5.5" Lapis card base.

For the sentiment, I used silver foil to hot foil a sentiment from the Three Holiday Messages Hot Foil Plate set onto a piece of Lapis cardstock. Then I used a small die from the Infinity Rectangles die set to cut it into a small rectangle. Using a blending brush, I blended a bit of Nautical Core Ink around the edges to create a bit of contrast at the edges of the sentiment strip. Then, to finish the card, I used foam tape to adhere the sentiment to the card front.

Thank you so much for visiting!
