January My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #2 + Giveaway

MMH Countdown to Creativity

We’re back with another Countdown post, leading up to our My Monthly Hero release for January on Monday the 9th at 1pm eastern! Sally is sharing her ideas for using the main kit and add-ons today.

Give me hearts, any hearts…and lots of bright ink colors! The new My Monthly Hero kit has a wonderful, 6×8 stamp set that has solid hearts in several sizes included. Yay! I stamped them out like crazy in a pleasing random fashion. Then I “overstamped” the vines or smaller hearts on top. The kit also has a heart die – I die cut a few and mounted them on top. The words in black can be added at the end or beginning. To finish the card I just trimmed and stitched in gold, and mounted on a red card.

For my next card, I used the optional add-on stamp set CM149 Love Notes and stamped all over a small rectangle. Next I die cut two envelopes from printed paper – those fun little envelope dies are optional add-ons, too! I left one envelope open, and filled it with die cut hearts.

Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post! We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from all of the comments left across all countdown posts, and announce the winner first thing Monday morning, January 9th, before the kit launches at 1pm eastern. The more you comment, the more chances to win!

Stay tuned for more fabulous idea for using this month’s kit and add-ons throughout the weekend!
