Ombré Hydrangea - Hero Arts

Ombré Hydrangea

I love the variety of inks that Hero Arts offers. It’s so fun to see the transformation of the Color Layering images. Today’s card is a good example of unexpected color combinations.

Isn’t the Color Layering Hydrangea stamp set beautiful? The leaves are stamped with Lime Green Shadow Ink and then layered with Green Apple. I was surprised and happy with the outcome. The blooms have first been stamped with the new Ombré Hydrangea and then followed up with Grape Juice Shadow Ink.

I’ve highlighted the centers of the blooms with Wink of Stella. The partial watercolored background draws your eyes to the hydrangea and keeps the sentiment nice and crisp.

What are some of your favorite go to colors for blooms?
