Two-for-One Thank You Cards

The Hero Arts Cover Plate dies make a bold statement without a lot of fuss. And the new Thank You Message Cover Plate is a stunner! Today I'm using all the pieces of the die by creating two cards at once.

First up, I used the die in the traditional manner. I die cut three panels of Dove White Cardstock and then adhered them all together to create a thick panel. (Be sure to save the letters for the next card!)

Then I created a gradient watercolored panel using Pool Party, Splash, Thistle and Berry Smoothie Reactive inks.

I adhered my die cut panel over the watercolor background and used Snowfall Glitter to add some sparkle to the bottom part of the letters.

For the second card, I used the leftover letters from the first card. I adhered all three layers together to create thick chipboard-like letters. Then I used the same colors of Reactive inks to paint the top layer.

For the background on this card, I used the new Diamond Infinity Dies to create a tone-on-tone pattern of popped up diamonds. Then I adhered the letters over the top. So many layers of goodness!

And finally I nestled some Icicle Sequins in behind the message for a little sparkle.

These cards prove that you can make a big statement with minimal products. It's not very often I create a card with no stamping, but it was fun to mix things up!

Have a great day!
