Video: Looking Glass Heart Window Card

Hello there, Michelle here and happy New Year to you. Today I am here to share a card and video using the Looking Glass Heart dies. These are so fun because you can use all three layers, one, two or a combination. I love when products are so versatile. For my card today, I am using all three layers.

Here is the video showing how I made the card:

I started off by die cutting the love layer from the Looking Glass Heart set from three panels of Dove White cardstock (4.25" x 4.25"). I die cut three panels to give some dimension. The next layer, the heart, was die cut from Peony cardstock. The third layer from Azalea cardstock.

I took a 4.75" x 4.75" white card base made from Dove White cardstock and die cut the heart layer in to the middle. This is just an added feature so that you can see through to the inside of the card. I decided to leave the inside of the card white, but you could add another colour so that it can be seen from the front.

The layers were all adhered one on top of another on to the front of the card. This gives quite a lot of dimension, even adding them flat. I then took the sentiment from the Prayers Stamp & Cut set and stamped it on to Pitch Black cardstock with Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink . I applied White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. It was cut in to a strip and added to the card. To finish off, I added a few gems.

This set is perfect for Valentine's and love themed cards, or simply as friendship cards, like I have made today. Thanks so much for stopping by, have a great day!
