Wedding Greeting Card

My niece is getting married at the beginning of October, so the first card that I created is a wedding card.

I began by die-cutting the Filigree Quartet Etched Dies from matte gold cardstock and adhering them to a square white panel that was die-cut with the large square die in the same set.

I gold heat embossed the flowers, bow and sentiment from the Cottage Bouquet Stamp Set onto white cardstock and cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. I used the square die in the Picot Petite Square Etched Dies to die-cut the sentiment. The flowers and sentiment were popped up onto the front of the card with foam adhesive.

I wanted a bit of gold around the outside so I die cut the largest square in the Picot Petite Squares Etched Dies from matte gold cardstock and adhered it to the back of the panel before adhering it to the square card base.

Merry Christmas Card

My second is a Christmas card and uses the Bed of Lace Etched Dies. When I first saw this set, I immediately thought of a Christmas tree!

I die-cut the detail dies in the Bed of Lace Etched Dies from green glitter paper and cut the back from green cardstock just using the outline dies. The two largest rectangle dies in the Picot Petite Rectangles Etched Dies were die-cut from black and kraft cardstock. I used one of the hot foil plates in the Essential Glimmer Rectangles Hot Foil Plates and Matte Gold Foil to create the gold dot border on the black panel.

Using a die from the Nestabilities Classic Rectangles SM set, I cut the tree trunk from white woodgrain paper and added some brown ink. The star was created with a punch and gold glitter paper. After adhering the trunk and the star to the tree, it was popped up with foam tape.

The sentiment, from Yana's Christmas Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set, was foiled onto black foil with Matte Gold Foil and cut out with the included die. It was also popped up with foam adhesive.

Sympathy Card

My final card is a sympathy card. Although one of the most difficult to make, I am always thankful to have one on hand when I need it.

For this one, I die-cut the largest rectangle in the Picot Petite Rectangles Etched Dies from light blue cardstock and the middle oval in the Picot Petite Ovals Etched Dies from white cardstock and adhered them together. I also cut the label shape from blue cardstock using one of the dies in the Bed of Lace Etched Dies.

The sentiment, from the Elegant Occasion Sentiments Glorious Glimmer Hot Foil Classic Plates, was foiled onto white cardstock with Moondust Foil and cut out with the die that is included in the set. I wrapped the ribbon around the blue rectangle and adhered it to a white cardstock panel. The sentiment was adhered to the label and it was popped up with foam adhesive. I added a double bow above the label and some adhesive pearls to each corner.
