Colorful Crafty Cards using the Crafty Babes Collection

Hello! Jen Kotas here today with three cards featuring the Simple Stories Crafty Babe Collection. There are two die set plus other papers, embellishments, and stickers. I focused on the dies for these cards but I couldn't resist using some of the other products. I picked my color palette from the papers in the collection. All of my cardstock is from the new ColorWheel Cardstock, except one from Hero Arts Premium Cardstock. Crafty Babes with Jen Kotas, S4-1463, SS24313, SS24300, BP-296
  1. Die cut the pieces from Labels and Icons Etched Dies from the following ColorWheel Cardstock Colors: Raven, Alabaster, Teal Topaz, Seaside, and Beeswax. Cut heart from Hero Arts Ultra Pink cardstock. Cut icons from Raven twice.
  2. Using the Raven outline die cuts, place thin foam squares on back and inlay icon of a different color. Adhere second Raven outline.
  3. Adhere a piece of Teal Topaz ColorWheel Cardstock cut to 4 x 5 ¼” to an A2 card base.
  4. Cut a piece of pattern paper from Simple Stories Crafty Babe 12 x 12 Collection Kit to 3 ½ x 4 ¾” and adhere to card.
  5. Create BetterPress sentiment using Reel Color Sentiments BetterPress Plate and Die Set and Wild Berry BetterPress Ink. Cut out. Cut an extra from Raven and adhere offset.
  6. Add icons and sentiment to card. Finish with Simple Stories Crafty Babe Glitter Enamel Dots for flower and camera icons.
Crafty Babes with Jen Kotas, S4-1463, SS24313, SS24300, SS24311, BP-296
  1. Die-cut photo frame from Memory Frames Etched Dies twice out of Alabaster Cardstock. Adhere together.
  2. Die-cut heart from Labels and Icons Etched Dies out of Teal Topaz ColorWheel and Hero Arts Ultra Pink cardstocks. Adhere together.
  3. Add Beeswax ColorWheel Cardstock cut to 4 x 5 ¼” to an A2 card base.
  4. Cut a piece of pattern paper from Simple Stories Crafty Babe 12 x 12 Collection Kit to 3 ¾” x 5” and adhere to card.
  5. Back the photo frame with pattern paper from Simple Stories Crafty Babe 12 x 12 Collection Kit and adhere to card. Add heart to photo frame.
  6. Create BetterPress sentiment using Reel Color Sentiments BetterPress Plate and Die Set and Wild Berry BetterPress Ink. Cut out. Cut an extra from Raven and adhere offset.
  7. Add sentiment to card. Finish with Simple Stories Crafty Babe Glitter Enamel Dots and heart from Simple Stories Crafty Babe Foam Stickers.
Crafty Babes with Jen Kotas, S4-1467, SS24313, SS24300, BP-296
  1. Adhere teal paper from the Simple Stories Crafty Babe 12 x 12 Collection Kit cut to 4 x 5 ¼” to an A2 card base then add a 3 ¾ x 5” panel of Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock to card.
  2. Die cut the washi tape pieces from Crafty Tools Etched Dies out of pattern paper in the Simple Stories Crafty Babe 12 x 12 Collection Kit, Alabaster and Raven ColorWheel Cardstock.
  3. Assemble washi tape into a wreath and adhere to card.
  4. Create BetterPress sentiment using Reel Color Sentiments BetterPress Plate and Die Set and Wild Berry BetterPress Ink. Cut out. Cut an extra from Raven and adhere offset.
  5. Add sentiment to card. Finish with Simple Stories Crafty Babe Glitter Enamel Dots throughout card.
