Expressions of Love collection. There are so many cute dies and even a glimmer plate in this collection! I think this heart glimmer plate is going in my personal favorites collection because I can tell I will be using it often!
Hey, You XOXOXO Card
For my first card, I used the
Sunday Sunset die set (which coordinates with the
Sunday Drive set) to add my cute couple to their card. I cut the card with light blue cardstock, and then added the details with silver cardstock. I cut out the couple and their clothes from coordinating colors of cardstock, as well, and glued all the tiny pieces together.
For the background, I glimmered the hearts using
black foil. I cut the glimmered cardstock on an angle, and trimmed it on top with glitter paper, and added a black trim to the bottom. So simple!
Then, I finished this card off with some glimmered sentiments from the
More Sentiments Glimmer plate set.
Hello Sunshine Heart Card
My second card again uses those glimmered hearts - this time going down along the left hand side. I then cut strips of cardstock leftover from die cutting the couple in the car, and I added them coming in from the side at an angle.
I used the large heart from the
Forever Love Hearts set to cut the glitter heart. I added the heart just at the end of the paper strips, and added the sentiments- again using glimmered sentiments from the
More Sentiments glimmer plate set.
From Me To You Card
My last card follows the same playful and bright style as the first two. When making a set of cards, I like to try to keep using the same colors and elements, so that even when each card is a unique design, they all still look coordinated.
I glimmered the hearts at an angle this time, and then framed the hearts with strips of glitter cardstock. I then also added colorful strips of cardstock leading up to that gorgeous, detailed heart. I again used the
Forever Love Hearts die to cut a large glitter heart, and then this time I also cut the intricately detailed heart to layer over it. I popped this heart up on some foam adhesive and then used the sentiment dies from the
Expressions of Love Sentiments die set to glue over the heart. I also added a supporting glimmered sentiment from the same
More Sentiments glimmer set.
