Good Vibes Only Inspiration | Good Vibes Only with Rubeena

Hi, crafty friends! This is Rubeena from A Rare Ruby, and I’m so excited to be a guest on the Spellbinders Blog today. This post is part of a series featuring the Good Vibes Only Collection by Stephanie Low! You can find my first post here.

I have a simple card to share with you today using only a sentiment die. I wanted to be able to show you that you can use your dies without using any stamps. I really love this die collection designed by Stephanie Low because there is so much you can do with it. The Good Vibes Only Dies are one of my absolute favorite word dies!

I started with 4” x 5.25” watercolor cardstock. Using Pinterest for inspiration, I used my new Daniel Smith watercolors in pink and green shades to watercolor a flower. When it dried, I added some pink watercolor splatters.

I used the text die from the Good Vibes Only set to die-cut the same watercolored panel and added purple tape to the back so the small pieces wouldn’t fall out. I carefully removed only the “good vibes only” text without removing the inner pieces. I used the same die to die-cut black foam, which I set down first before gluing the watercolored piece over it. This adds a nice contrast and dimension. Finally, I mounted the watercolor piece to a white card base with foam tape.

This is a great way to use just your text or sentiment dies without needing to use stamps. I hope you were inspired by today’s post. Thanks so much for stopping by!
