Hello! Jen Kotas is here today with three cards featuring the Dancin’ Christmas Friends Collection. Interactive cards are so fun to make and dancing characters make it so easy!
One of my cards features embossing with a press plate. To do this, follow the instructions for embossing an etched die found on the Platform Base of the Universal Plate System.
Splatter the embossed panels with red metallic ink.
Create sentiments from the Mistletoe GreetingsPress Plate and Die Set using Strawberry and Black BetterPress Inks. Cut out with coordinating dies. Cut out another banner from red glitter cardstock to adhere offset behind one sentiment.
Adhere die cuts to panels with foam tape. Be sure to keep adhesive away from legs and only in the loop. To make the Dancin’ Gnome Alfie fit an A2 card since he’s almost 6” tall I tipped his body to the side. Not only does it make him more whimsical, it also frees up space for a sentiment.
Adhere sentiments to panels. I chose to leave Dancin’ Moose Klondike without a sentiment for now. I need something just the right size to fit this mini slimline card.
Adhere to an A2 card base.
