Jane Davenport Artomology | You are Unique Mixed Media Card with Mona Toth

Hello everyone, it's Mona Tóth here, thank you for joining me. Today I am showing you my second card with the amazing Artomology collection by Jane Davenport. This time I am focusing on using Flower Girl Stencils, Smooth Markers and Colorist Stickers. I never before painted and colored a face on a card but with stencil and Smooth Markers it was really easy. I hope you enjoyed my previous post, if you missed it you can find it here.

First I cut an A2 card base, then I picked one of the Flower Girl Stencils. Next I picked the lightest "Chick" color from the Feathered Friends Smooth Markers pack, and painted the lines, then built up the face with other face tone Smooth Markers (Flock, Crest, Brood, Hatchling, Preen and Wing).

When it was done, I colored the eyes with Bluebird, Kingfisher and Fairy Wren colors from the Mermesmerizing set. In the end of the coloring I painted  hair with Hover, Nest and Twitter Smooth Markers.

I wanted to embellish the painted girl's hair, so I picked the starfish and various shells from the Colorist Stickers book. I also colored them with the Bluebird, Kingfisher and Fairy Wren colors. These stickers are perfect! I love the gold/silver/magenta foiling on it.

In the end of my cardmaking I made a white sentiment with white cardstock and the You Are Unique Dies. I just run them trough my amazing Deep Sea Die-cut Machine and adhered the die cuts to my card and it was ready.
