Hi there, crafty friends! I’m Rebecca Keppel. If you loved the Say Cheese Classic Pooh collection, you will be excited to hear that the new Say Cheese Classic Pooh Birthday collection is the perfect addition! If you haven’t yet seen the original Classic Pooh collection, this is the perfect time to check it out! The new Classic Pooh Birthday collection includes new characters (Rabbit and Owl) as well as party accessories, new sentiments, and more!
You can use all of the original characters and dies like the Memory Frames Etched Dies and the Tigger and Eeyore Etched dies, and combine them with the new Classic Pooh Birthday Accessories Dies to create a party banner and the Birthday Numbers 3D Embossing folder. I love to emboss a white piece of cardstock and then add some soft ink blending on top to make a subtle background. The new A Very Happy Birthday SentimentsBetterPress plates include a bunch of sentiments on one plate and one die to cut them all out!
I thought the newly added characters (Rabbit and Owl) deserved their own card. So I again embossed with the Birthday Numbers 3D Embossing Folder and ink blended on top. The birthday elements I included were another party banner as well as a birthday hat, and a gift. I love that the Classic Pooh Birthday Accessories come with different sizes of party hats for the different characters as well as different sizes of birthday gifts. The characters themselves are very easy to assemble, especially when following the handy Spellbinders Assembly Guide.
You can also use the original characters on a cleaner, simpler card. I die-cut some grassy hills from the Landscape Etched Dies from the On the Farm collection and adhered them to a Breeze cardstock background. Then I used the new Birthday Accessories dies to create party hats for Piglet and Pooh, a birthday present and a cupcake, as well as a cute heart. This time I foiled my sentiment using the A Very Happy Birthday SentimentsBetterPress plates in the Glimmer machine with some Gold Foil.
Of course, the original Say Cheese Classic Pooh collection is just the cutest! But it becomes even more versatile with these new Say Cheese Classic Pooh Birthday Collection elements! Check them out to complete your set of characters AND use them to celebrate birthdays and other sweet celebrations!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! If you would like to see more of my Spellbinders projects, I share lots of them on my Instagram and Youtube Channel and would love to connect with you there!
