Special Moments Inspiration | Burlap and Gold Cards with Elena

Hi Spellbinders' fans! Elena Salo is here with another portion of inspiration featuring new Special Moments collection by Marisa Job. If you're interested in other projects with these dies, you can find them here. What do you think about combining gold and burlap? I thought about that a lot and wanted to try it in my today's project.

Here I created 5x5" top folding card base and covered the front of it with burlap from a set of Burlap & Canvas 6x6 Sheets from Spellbinders. Then I die-cut a frame out of Spellbinders' Gold cardstock using dies from Miss You Swirl and foam mounted it onto the card base.

For the sentiment I used "Special Day" from Special Day Frame. I die cut it out of dark brown cardstock and and adhered onto the card. I find the flower cluster from Floral Oval set to be very pretty and used it on all of my projects here. For today's card I die-cut the branch out of brown and the flowers out of pink cardstock, assembled them and decorated the frame.

I used the gold circle die cut and decorated a small card. I covered the front of it with burlap as well. I added the same sentiment onto the circle, decorated it with the flowers and foam mounted onto the small card.
