Take Two: Creating Two Cards Using the Latest Collection, "Love, Set, Match" by Debi Adams

Hi everyone! I’m Debi Adams and today I am bringing you two new cards featuring stamps and dies from my latest collection, “Love, Set, Match”.  Both of these cards are from the set, “Wink Wink” and are intended to be quick and easy, as is the entire collection. As I often do, I wanted something clean and trendy and I believe this line is exactly that.  On a personal level, I feel it's important to lift others up so I created these designs with that in mind.

It’s Your Time to Shine Card

This is a quick tutorial on how to create this super simple card, though I surmise you might be able to figure it out on your own because it's just that easy!

Use a 4 ¼” X 5 ½” card base and a mat that is 3 ¾” x 5”. Die cut a square from the upper center portion of the mat. Apply Pierced Rectangles to create the dotted border on the mat. Stamp sentiment onto front of mat using black ink. Color in with markers and colored pencils.

Die-cut light bulb from cardstock. Color in light bulb. Apply Distress Inks, listed in supply list, to card base using Tool 'n One with foam applicator, where square will appear. Mist lightly. Embellish with white ink.   Adhere light bulb and mat to base using foam dots.

And there you have it. A fun, encouraging card to give away!

 A sweet way to let someone know that they are appreciated for their input or accomplishments.

Use a 4 ¼” x 5 ½” card base. Adhere a yellow sheet of 3 ½” x 4 ¾” cardstock to base. Cut a 3 ¾” x 5” white mat. Die-cut three, circles from the mat. Stamp sentiment onto mat. Adhere mat to card base using foam dots.

Stamp, die-cut and color light bulbs. Adhere to inner center of circles with foam dots. Embellish with clear Nuvo drops.

Was that fun? I like making cards but I really LOVE giving them away. It spreads a lot of kindness and sunshine and everyone knows, we could use more of that!
