"Had a 9" Bira (similar to a Gina K) but it started to do weak embossing and cutting in the center. Got this by recommendation of Mary Polanco and others and am so glad I did! It cuts like a dream and is very portable. I do not miss the adjustment dial at all. Just slap a different plate in and I'm off and running. The only thing I'd want is a shorter plate set. I often cut just small shapes and having a shorter plate would speed things up -esp for repetitive dies. But that's just me wishing to be lazy. If you don't have one, GET IT! Like going from a Cricut to a Juliet, you'll only regret not doing it sooner. No joke."
