A Sunny Flourish

Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I'm sharing a bright and sunny card featuring the new Floral Flourish Stencil. This beautiful stencil is not only perfect for ink blending, as I've done here, but it's also great for using with Hero Pastes!

I started off by positioning the stencil over an 4.25" x 5.5" panel of Deluxe Smooth White cardstock. I used a bit of low-tack tape to hold the stencil in place and then got to work blending Ultra Pink and Lemon Yellow Core Inks over the stencil using blending brushes. Then I removed the stencil, trimmed the panel down to 4" x 5.25" and set it aside.

Next, I used a die from the Happy Thanks Stamp & Cut XL set to die cut the "thanks" sentiment three times, once from Azalea cardstock and twice from heavy white scraps. Then I glued the layers together with the pink layer on top. I also used a stamp from the set to stamp a smaller sentiment in Onyx pigment ink onto a strip of white cardstock.

To assemble the card, I glued the die cut sentiment to the background and then used foam tape to adhere the stamped sentiment. Finally, I used foam tape to adhere the card front to an A2 card base.

Thank you so much for visiting!
