Awesome Add-Ons: May Edition

Hi stampers, it’s time for this month’s Awesome Add-ons feature! Before we dive into the project inspiration, here’s a look at all of the add-on products that were introduced along with the May kit -- 3 clear stamp sets, 2 coordinating Frame Cuts, 1 Stamp & Cut set, 1 Confetti Die, 2 Bold Prints background stamps, and let's not forget the Ombré Reactive Spring Day ink pad and Liquid Watercolor in Leaf..

Today Creative Team member Ilina Crouse is going to share some fabulous “beyond the kit” ideas for a few of the add-ons. Take it away, Ilina...

Hi everyone, Ilina here today with couple cards using few of the new May MMH add-ons. For my first card I used the new Swing by Soon stamp set. I stamped the girl first using Intense Black ink, then masked it using Post-It notes and stamped the swing. I colored it with Copic markers and cut it out. I set it aside.

I cut piece of Radiant White card stock to 3 3/4" x 5" and using the new Ombré Reactive Spring Day ink pad I did some ink blending. I sprinkled some water and picked it up with a paper towel.

I cut a 4" x 5 1/4" panel from Decorative Woodgrain card stock and die cut an oval window using the Nesting Oval Infinity Dies. Using Versamark I stamped the sentiment onto Black Layering Papers (Midnight mix), embossed using white embossing powder and trimmed it. I assembled my card onto a Pool folded note card.

For my second card I used the Family Words Bold Prints background and stamped it with Versamark onto Blush Layering Papers and embossed with ultra fine embossing powder. I trimmed it to 3 3/4" x 5" and set it aside. Next I stamped the heart from Besties Stamp & Cut onto Earth Mix layering paper with Versamark and embossed it with White embossing powder then cut it out. I stamped the leaves onto Snow Layering Papers using Ombré Soft Brown to Cup o' Joe ink pad and colored with colored pencils.

I stamped the sentiment onto vellum and embossed with white embossing powder. I assembled my panel, tied some twine around, added Champagne sequins and adhered to a Kraft note card.

Thank you for stopping by today and hope you are inspired to create something!
