Hero Arts News: Announcing our Lead Educator!

We are thrilled to announce Channin Pelletier as the Lead Educator for Hero Arts! If you've frequented our blog and social media channels, you already know that Channin has been a wonderful member of our Creative Team for many years. We couldn't be more excited to have her contribute in new ways and bring more of her amazing creativity, knowledge, and enthusiasm to our customers and retailers.

Channin is here to share a bit more about herself. Take it away, Channin...!

It is with immense excitement and joy that I step into the role of Lead Educator for Hero Arts! Since 2018 I’ve had the great privilege of being apart of the Hero Arts Creative Team, so many of you might already be familiar with my card designs and video tutorials and may have even joined me in a virtual Make-along or Stamp-Along class as well. Additionally, I have also had the pleasure of meeting many of the incredible brick-and-mortar store owners when teaching classes for Hero Arts at tradeashows and store events earlier this year.

Background:

My love of stamping actually dates all the way back to my early teens and of course some of my first stamps and inks from back then were from Hero Arts! That same creative spirit eventually led me to pursue a degree in Fine Arts Degree and then as life unfolded, I found myself drawn to sharing my knowledge and helping others so I went back to school to became a certified teacher.

About Me:

I live in sunny Arizona with my husband, two daughters and two cats. The unusual spelling of my name was inspired by the character Chani from Dune but is pronounced exactly like the traditional “Shannon”. Before cardmaking became my focus, I was a special education teacher and before that I taught ceramic and pottery wheel classes for almost a decade! When I’m not playing with ink and paper, I love to thrift vintage clothing, play board games (my current favorites are Sagrada and Chronicles of Crime) and attend concerts.

What’s Ahead:

I look forward to teaching and leading you in future Hero Arts events and classes as well as sharing and exploring all the wonderful products Hero Arts has to offer. Thank you for welcoming me with open arms—I can't wait for all the creative adventures that lie ahead!
