Hello friends,
You may have heard that Ellison, the parent company of Sizzix, has made claims of patent infringement against a number of companies in our industry, including Hero Arts.
Just so you know, there is absolutely no reason to change any purchasing patterns with Hero Arts, as Hero Arts does not infringe, believes the lawsuit is without merit, and intends to fight this lawsuit and win for the good of Hero Arts and the industry. Whether we like it or not, the legal process is a method to resolve disputes, and we must let that play out.
There is no reason to allow a chill on creativity or a disruption to business to creep into our beloved industry despite the current situation. In fact, let's work to do just the opposite and rally together to make our community even stronger. Hero Arts and the other companies involved remain the same creative, reliable, top selling brands you trust and love.

I stand with the Hero Arts team. It’s unfortunate that this is the route they decided to take. Crafters voices are heard loudest by our purchasing power. I will continue to support Hero Arts and the other named brands in this ridiculous lawsuit.
So sorry this is happening. Will continue to support all my favorite companies especially Hero Arts.
I hope they eat crow when this is done and it cost them lots of money , and they have to come to all the companies and say we are sorry for causing so much trouble for all of you! I love Hero Arts and the people that work there.
So well said! I plan on supporting as many small stamping businesses as I can. I love Hero Arts – been stamping for 30 years; I started in NYC and there were NO stamp stores…but Hero was in stationery stores & I loved them. Still do. I am sad that Ellison is making this choice and hope that they will learn how loyal and caring we are regarding small independent stamp companies.
