December My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #4 + Giveaway!

MMH Countdown to Creativity

We back with more from our December Countdown to Creativity, leading up to the release of the latest My Monthly Hero kit on Monday, December 5th at 1pm eastern/10am pacific! This month’s kit has several fabulous optional add-ons, perfect for celebrating! We're calling this month's MMH "the Sally kit", and here she is to show you a couple of the Sally-inspired products…

How excited I was to get the “martini and cheers" add-on die I had asked Hero Arts to make!!! It’s a "must have" for the resort port I live in. You can make any kind of celebration card in a whiz with the Martini Fancy Die. I chose a birthday card for my first try! It’s almost a stand alone die. Add a few bubbles or confetti and some words from another add-on, Birthday Celebration! DONE! It’s good for parties, birthdays, New Year’s and more. Use the confetti streamer as a lemon twist and add a few sparkly gems on the stem.

Speaking of New Year’s…sometimes I fall short on someone’s Christmas card or it’s too late to send one. SO, I make a New Year’s card instead. Our little add-on clear set and dies - Happy New Year Stamp & Cut - makes that a snap with some grey ink and silver embossing powder. Add some gems, and try out the Uni-ball gold pen included in the main kit on a dark envelope. YOU WILL BE ADDICTED! I love lettering fun envelopes like this. I also love combining gold and silver together on the card - it's such a classy look for a New Year's card. That fabulous gold foil cardstock is also included in the main kit!

Cheers 2017 by Sally Traidman for Hero Arts

Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post! We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from all the comments left across all countdown posts, and announce the winner first thing Monday morning, December 5, before the kit launches at 1 pm eastern. The more you comment, the more chances to win!
