Easy Ink Blending

Hi crafty friends! It's Jeannie and today, I'm sharing a super easy card using a very simple stencil and stamp set.

To create this card, I started with the Mixed Frame Stencil on Deluxe Smooth White cardstock. I pulled out my Hero Tools Ink Blending Brushes along with Reactive Inks in Taffy and Blue Hawaii. I decided to ink blend diagonally alternating strips of color with the colors slightly overlapping each other, which in this case, creates a purple shade. These inks react with water but I decided to leave it alone with just ink blending.

Next, I stamped the heart from the Message Basics stamp set in random areas where I could fit it. I thought it would be a cute accent for the stencil. I also stamped the "Love You" sentiment on white cardstock and trimmed it down to adhere onto the card.

As a finishing touch, I used the Sparkle Clear Lacquer Pen to color in the hearts. I love how simple the card is but it is an easy one to change up by switching out the colors blended together.

I hope you enjoyed the card. Thank you for stopping by!
