Good Luck Shaker Card

Hello. Today I have a card to share featuring a fabulous new clear stamp set from the 2016 Catalog called Origami Animals. Although it is not yet available in our store, it will soon be arriving at your favourite retailer. Look for it in our store on February 8th! To make my card, I stitched half an Acetate Notecard to half a Blush Notecard on three sides. I filled the pocket with sequins then stitched up the final side. Next, I stamped some of the origami birds on patterned paper and cut them out. I adhered them on top of the acetate pocket, along with a sentiment which is also from the Origami set.

These birds are so fun - and great for all sorts of occasions. And the set contains lots of other origami shapes too. I love the way the acetate makes it look like the birds are floating above the card.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you love the new stamps as much as I do!
