Graphic Snowflake Background with Trimmings

Hello! Today I created an elegant background with Gold Embossing Powder and the Graphic Snowflake Bold Print Background to showcase the beautiful Color Layering Trimmings images.

I stamped the Graphic Snowflake Bold Print background on a black Midnight Mixed Layering Paper with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. The center of the snowflakes were adorned with Nuvo Crystal Drops in Gloss White.

A Fancy Ornaments Infinity Die was die cut from another piece of black Midnight Mixed Layering Paper and the word "Joy" from the Peace, Love, & Joy Stamp Set and the "string" from the Color Layering Trimmings Stamp Set were stamped with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with White Detail Embossing Powder.

The branch from the Color Layering Trimmings Stamp Set was stamped with Moss Ink and Forever Green Ink. The pinecones were stamped with Caramel Ink and Cup O' Joe Ink. The bow stamped with Pale Tomato Ink and Red Royal Ink and the bell stamped with Soft Granite and Charcoal Ink. The highlight on the bell was stamped with Unicorn Ink.

The images were die cut with the coordinating Color Layering Trimmings Frame Cuts dies and adhered to the Infinity Ornament as shown.

The rest of the sentiment from the Peace, Love, & Joy Stamp Set was stamped on red cardstock with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with White Detail Embossing Powder, trimmed into a thin strip, and adhered to the design with foam adhesive.

The embellished Infinity Ornament was adhered to the card background with foam adhesive to finish the card.

Thanks for joining me today for this holiday themed Color Layering card!

Have a great day!

Hello there, Michelle Short here to share a step-by-step tutorial using the Snowflake Background Etched Dies from the Lisa Horton Snowflake Kisses Collection.
