Happy Birthday to Mew!

Hi there! Emily Midgett here with you today to share some punny critter inspiration. I love pulling out some of the older sets... with such a, ahem, full craft room, it's sometimes overwhelming to remember what products I have in my arsenal! I have a fun birthday project today using the Cinco de Meow stamp set that was released last year. Let's get started with the details!

I began by stamping the cute little kitty popping out of the gift box from Cinco de Meow onto some white card stock using Intense Black ink. I also stamped a few balloons onto the same panel, then colored all of the images with Copic markers. I die cut the kitty, then used my detail scissors to closely fussy cut the balloons.

I stamped more balloons on an A2 card base, adding some sprinkles of confetti. I colored the confetti with the same shades of Copic markers, then adhered the fussy cut balloons over the top using liquid adhesive and covered them with Crystal Clear Lacquer. I stamped the coordinating sentiment on a strip of white card stock, then adhered it and the kitty with foam adhesive.

Well, that's all for me today! I hope this post encourages you to take a look at your older stamps and dies... with so many wonderful products coming out all the time, it's easy to forget about all of the fabulous products that have already come out. Thanks so much for stopping by today, and have a marvelous week!
