Happy New Year! + Season's Givings Blog Hop

Happy New Year! We hope you've enjoyed the holidays, and are settling into 2018. We are thrilled to be joining a big hop today, full of generous stampers and craft companies. The purpose of this hop is to say a great big THANK YOU to all of YOU, our wonderful blog readers! Every single stop along this hop is offering some sort of prize. How fun is that? So sit back, relax and bring 2018 in with a crafty bang!

Libby created the card we're sharing today. It features an oldie but goodie, our My Monthly Hero kit from December 2016! Libby stamped the champagne bottles repeatedly, colored with her Copics and then added gold gel pen (included in the kit) as well as some gold Stickles to the labels. The "cheers" was cut with a die included in the kit, and the shiny gold metallic paper came from the kit as well. She finished the card with some polka dotted washi tape from her stash.

Because this kit is so incredibly perfect for the new year, we decided to offer up THREE of them as our prizes for this hop! Just leave a comment here on the blog, letting us know your goals for 2018, and we'll put your name in the hat. You have until Sunday, January 7 at 11:59pm PT to comment, and we'll announce the winners the following week here on the blog.

Now it's time to hop! Here's the entire list of participants.

From here you'll visit our friends over at CAS-ual Friday Stamps. Have fun hopping! And we wish you all the very best in 2018!

Lovely card. That looks like a fun kit from a year ago. I dont think i was familiar with the Hero Arts kits then. One crafty goal I have is to refine my pencil coloring. One way I’ll accomplish this is to do a similar project after I’ve completed the ‘class project’ so I can practice the skills again.

FD91354,

I am planning to be more productive with my writing and complete my 5th book of poetry and, ideally get it published like the other four. I have a couple of other writing projects that need my attention as well. I plan to spend a lot of time with a pencil in my hand and keyboard under my fingers. :)

ratgirl,

Happy New Year! My crafting goals are to make more time for crafting and use the supplies that I have. I also want to improve my coloring skills.

Judy,

Happy New Year. Love those champagne bottles. Thanks for the opportunity to enter for a chance to win this fabulous give away.

Anne S,

Lovely card! I love Hero arts so much my wish list would be so long. My goal is to finish all the cards I haven’t. Happy New Year to all!
