Heat Embossing with Starry Night Stencil

Hi everyone! Ilina here! Today I am sharing a card using the brand new Starry Night Stencil. You can find it in the new 2019 Catalog, along with many other new products.

To make my card I started with a panel of Hero Hues Adriatic cardstock measuring 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I used anti-static powder over it and secured my stencil on top. Using a Versamark ink pad and direct to paper technique I applied ink all over the panel. Removed the stencil carefully and covered the panel with Ultra Fine Clear embossing powder, shook off the excess and heat set it. Trimmed the panel down to 4" x 5 1/4" and set it aside.

Next I stamped the images from the Dream Big stamp set on Hero Hues Dove White cardstock using Intense Black ink and colored them. Once done, die cut them using the coordinating Frame Cuts.

Stamp the sentiment with Versamark on piece of Hero Hues Adriatic cardstock and emboss with White embossing powder and trim to size. Assemble the elements onto a Hero Hues Dove White Top folded card. Did you know, in addition to side folded cards, Hero Arts now offers a top folding variety?

Thank you so much for stopping by and hope you have a creative day!
