Holidays Message in Pink

I am really loving non-traditional holiday colors for the upcoming holiday season. Hero Hues Reactive Inks in Taffy and Fruit Punch inspired the colors for this pink Holidays Message Fancy Die card!

The 4" x 5 1/4" background was inked with Taffy and Fruit Punch Reactive Inks using ink blending brushes on smooth white cardstock. Once a seamless blend was achieved the Graphic Snowflake Bold Print was stamped over the background with the same ink colors to achieve a tone-on-tone subtle snowflake pattern.

A holiday phrase from the Holiday Messages and Icons Stamp Set was stamped along the bottom edge of the panel with Embossing & Watermark Ink and heat embossed with White Detail Embossing Powder.

The Holidays Message Fancy Die was die cut from Hero Hues Peony, Azalea, and Cherry cardstock, layered and adhered to the background directly above the stamped and embossed phrase for a big, bold sentiment.

The snowflake from the Holidays Message Fancy Die was die cut three times from Vellum and adhered to the background as shown. The snowflakes and background were adorned with a scattering of Ombre Blush, Icicle, and Snow & Berry sequins to finish the card.

What are some of your favorite non-traditional holiday color schemes?

Thank you so much for joining me today!

Bonita Reyes,

Beautiful holiday card. I love the non traditional color. It would have never occurred to use pink but it works.
