January My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #5 + giveaway

MMH Countdown to Creativity

Hi! Today I have a simple watercolored card to share with you featuring stamps and dies from the January My Monthly Hero kit. To make this card, I first die cut a heart from some scrap cardstock to create a heart shaped stencil. I used this to create my loose watercolor heart, then flicked some extra paint onto the panel. Once this was dry, I white heat embossed the sentiment over the heart, then added stitching and clear sequins from the shaker mix in the kit. I added the panel to a Pool Folded Card.

For this card, I took inspiration from the front of the 2016 Valentine's catalog. I love it.

Hello there, Michelle Short here to share a step-by-step tutorial using the Snowflake Background Etched Dies from the Lisa Horton Snowflake Kisses Collection.
