Our next LIVE Make-Along event is this weekend! Join Channin to make along with the Hero Studio August 2024 Card Kit of the Month. Gather your supplies and create a card with Channin from start to finish.

Supplies:

August Card Kit of the Month
Pointed Arches Infinity Dies
Dove White Cardstock
Pitch Black Cardstock
Top-Folding Dove White Card Base
Green Apple Core Ink
Pine Core Ink
Aegean Core Ink
Bermuda Core Ink
Deep Ocean Core Ink
Ultra Pink Core Ink
Crimson Core Ink
Arctic Core Ink
Embossing & Watermark Ink
White Detail Embossing Powder
Large Blending Brushes
Medium Blending Brushes
Small Blending Brushes
Alcohol Markers - Copics: Y15, YR04, YR07
Anti-Static Powder
Heat Tool
Die-cutting Maching
Stamping Platiform
Foam Adhesive
Precision Glue
Press-n-Seal or low-tack tape
Paper Trimmer

Instructions:

  1. Die cut the leaves (1 large and 2 small), vines (2) and flowers (2 large and 3 small) out of Dove White cardstock from the included fancy dies from the August Card Kit of the Month.
  2. Ink-blend over the die cuts with several Core Inks. Use Green Apple, Pine and Deep Ocean for the large leaf, Aegean, Bermuda and Deep Ocean for the small leaf and vines, and Ultra Pink and Crimson for the Hibiscus Flowers.
  3. Color details with alcohol markers to the large and small flowers.
  4. Ink-blended the front of an A2 top-folding white card base with Arctic Core Ink starting at the upper left corner to create an angled gradation.
  5. Trim Dove White cardstock down to create an A2 panel (4 1/4" x 5 1/2"). Die cut the panel with a die from the Pointed Arches Infinity Die Set.
  6. Stamp a sentiment from the clear stamp set from the August Card Kit onto Pitch Black cardstock in Embossing & Watermark Ink. Pour white embossing powder over then heat set with heat tool. Die cut sentiment out with the coordinating die.
  7. Position the diecuts over the diecut panel then pick up everything with press-n-seal.
  8. Add foam adhesive to the panel and the leaves then adhere to the card front.
  9. Add foam adhesive to the flowers and sentiment then adhere on top of the leaves and panel.

Kiwi Cardstock
Top-Folding Dove White Card Base
Green Apple Core Ink
Pine Core Ink
Aegean Core Ink
Bermuda Core Ink
Deep Ocean Core Ink
Forever Green Core Ink
Medium Blending Brushes
Small Blending Brushes
Palette Knife
Olive Hero Wax - included in August Card Kit
Stamping Platiform
Foam Adhesive
Precision Glue
Paper Trimmer
Stencil Mat/Grip Mat

Instructions:

  1. Trim Arctic cardstock down to create an A2 panel (4 1/4" x 5 1/2").
  2. Place the first stencil from the August Layering Stencil of the Month over the panel using a stencil mat or tape to hold the stencil in place.
  3. Ink-blend over the stencil with Green Apple, Pine and Deep Ocean Core Inks. Remove stencil.
  4. Position stencil 3 and ink-blend with Aegean and Bermuda Core Inks. Remove stencil
  5. Position stencil 4 and ink-blend with Deep Ocean Core Ink. Remove stencil.
  6. Position stencil 2 and ink-blend with Deep Ocean Core Ink.
  7. Apply Olive Hero Wax over stencil with a palette knife then remove and clean stencil and palette knife. Set panel aside to dry.
  8. When wax is dry trim about an 1 inch of out of the panel.
  9. Trim Kiwi cardstock down to create an A2 panel (4 1/4" x 5 1/2").
  10. Stamp a sentiment from the clear stamp set from the August Card Kit of the Month in Forever Green Core Ink onto the Kiwi panel.
  11. Adhere the Kiwi panel onto the front of an A2 top-folding white card base.
  12. Adhere the stenciled panel parts to the card front with foam adhesive.
