July My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #4 + a Giveaway!

MMH Countdown to Creativity

We're back with our next peek at the July My Monthly Hero kit, leading up to the launch at 1pm eastern/10am pacific on Tuesday, July 5th! This morning we told you all about the beautiful Ombre Dolphin ink pad created for this kit. Well ink lovers, we have more good news for you! Here's Libby with more...

If you've been following the blog this weekend, you've already seen gorgeous cards created by Jayne and Clare using the new Ombre Dolphin ink pad, included in this month's My Monthly Hero kit. I had to try these gorgeous colors out for myself, too! I inked up my background using a blending tool. The jellyfish were embossed in hero_product_link sku="PW101" text="silver"], and I added hero_product_link sku="WM117" text="Silver Shimmer Spray"] and also some of the pretty sequins from the kit.

Are you loving this new ink as much as I am? Well guess what!! It has a friend. :-) Let me introduce you to Ombre Mermaid! This one is an optional add-on to the kit, and it is equally gorgeous!!

I created the same card, this time in the gorgeous blue to purple spectrum of the Mermaid pad. I am a sucker for anything purple (Exhibit A: hero_product_link sku="AF358" text="Libby's Purple Garden"]!) so this ink is seriously making me happy!!

I decided to make these cards on vellum to go with the transparent feel of the jellyfish. I absolutely love jellyfish - when we visit the aquarium, I can stare at the jellyfish tank forever. (Jellyfish at the beach? Not as fond of those...!)

Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post! We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from all of the comments left across all countdown posts, and announce the winner first thing Tuesday morning, July 5, before the kit launches at 1pm eastern. The more you comment, the more chances to win!

We'll be back tomorrow with more about this month's kit and add-ons!
