Love Note Pair Fancy Dies

What could possibly be more fun than a tiny envelope die? Two dies that can be used alone or together to create delightful, little greetings!! The new Love Note Pair Fancy Dies set includes two dies for creating small notes – one die makes an envelope and the other die makes a heart-shaped note that fits perfectly in the envelope!

These small notes are sized just right for adding to gifts, treat bags, school lunches, and even larger cards – they are simply too cute to resist! I couldn’t wait to play with these dies so today I’m sharing a valentine card that features both the envelope and the heart-shaped note added to a card front to reveal a special message. :)

To make my card, I started by stamping the Drippy Lines Bold Prints background with Aquatic ink onto an aqua card base and then covered the center of the card with a panel of white layering paper. On another panel of white cardstock, I stamped the Drippy Lines Bold Prints twice, with Bubble Gum ink, to create a fun plaid. Using the heart-shaped die, I cut a plaid heart and secured it to the card with foam tape. Although the die creates several scored lines on the heart, the subtle lines don’t bother me at all.

Next, I die cut a small envelope from mint cardstock. I folded the envelope on the scored lines, adhered the lower flap to the side flaps, and then taped a length of pink ribbon to the back before securing the envelope to the card front. The ribbon tie allows the envelope to be easily and repeatedly opened and closed. I added several flowers that I stamped and cut with the Color Layering Pineapple set and the matching dies, as well as the Color Layering For You Flowers set and dies, along both sides of the heart and onto the envelope. The flowers were stamped with Bubble Gum, Aquatic, and Soft Pool inks. I also added an adorable, valentine postage stamp from the new Love Notes set.

To create my message, I die cut a heart-shaped note from vellum and then embossed two sentiments from the Dapper Dad set onto the heart. I folded the heart on the scored lines, but before tucking it into the envelope, I also added a few, loose flowers for a bit of floral confetti! So much fun in a tiny package!

I hope that you are as excited about the Love Note Pair Fancy Dies set as I am … I’m looking forward to using these dies all year long as I think that their uses are endless!

Wishing you a wonderful and crafty week! Thanks for stopping by,
