Mahalo!

Hello! I’m so excited to share my card that features the new Color Layering Sea Turtle. I had so much fun with the ink colors!

Let’s start at the bottom of the card and work our way up. The base panel is from the Foliage Mix Layering Papers. It has been stamped with the Scribble Bold Prints in Fresh Lawn. The sentiment has been heat embossed in white on black cardstock. With a panel of Snow I used the Nesting Oval Infinity Dies to cut the curve. Run the panel through just so that you cut the curve and then wind the die cutter backwards so that it only cuts the curve and nothing else.

I watercolored a panel that I cut using the Circle Infinity Dies.

The Sea Turtle uses a couple different green inks.

Solid body: Green Hills Shadow Ink Mid-Tone
Solid shell: Lime to Forever Green Ombré Ink
Detail shell: Ombré Mermaid
Arms/legs dots: Fresh Lawn Shadow Ink Mid-Tone
Arms/legs detail: Green Apple Hero Arts Bold Ink

I topped my card with some black twine. I love all things nautical + tropical, how about you?

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello there, Michelle Short here to share a step-by-step tutorial using the Snowflake Background Etched Dies from the Lisa Horton Snowflake Kisses Collection.
