Today we're delighted to have Debi Adams here to share a wonderful “beyond the kit” project. Let's get started!

Hello there! And wow, are the My Monthly Hero Kit and add-ons for March amazing or what? I’m Debi Adams and I am happy to be showcasing two of the incredible designs that Hero Arts came out with this month. Honestly, it was hard to not make more than the samples needed. I’m actually thinking I may be part Asian because these images felt like home to me. I love the clean lines and creative style in all of them, and that includes this Koi Pond Bold Prints stamp.

Though the card looks like there is a lot to it, it was really only the Koi Pond background stamped three times, once embossed onto Pitch Black cardstock with white embossing powder and twice stamped onto Dove White cardstock using Intense Black ink. I colored them in with Copic Markers, sliced a few pieces of the patterned pieces and adhered them to the card base. A circle of fish, some string and the sentiment from the Kittens in Kimonos set finished the card.

So what do you think? Do you have a favorite set? As always, we at Hero Arts love to see what you create! Hoping you got inspired today.

Thanks for hanging with me today!

XO,
Debi

Henriëtte,

Love the creative way you layered this gorgeous background stamp! I like that the black and white breaks up the colorful pond and how everything draws your eye to the focal point. Thanks for sharing!
