We are back with another look at the March My Monthly Hero release! The kit will be available on Monday, March 6th at 1pm eastern/10am pacific. We’ll be sharing ideas for using the main kit and the optional add-on products all weekend long, so stay tuned for more inspiration! Now let’s join Michelle, who is sharing another look at the fabulous main kit, along with the add-ons, available on Monday!
First off, I have to say, what a great kit! It is jammed packed full of stamped images and coordinating dies as well as lots of other goodies. My first card uses the garden stamp set from the kit. This set is perfect for garden enthusiasts but also great for all round cards too.
I started by taking a sheet of white cardstock, I stamped the vegetables and fruit on to this using Intense Black Ink. The images were coloured using Copic Markers and I outlined them using a light grey colour to help them pop. The image panel was added to a black card base with foam tape.
I took the sentiment from the same set and stamped this using Versamark Ink on to more black cardstock. I applied white embossing powder and then heat set. This was added to the card with more foam tape.
My next card uses the adorable Welcome Home add-on. This is such a cute set and again, great for lots of occasions. I started off by cutting a piece of white cardstock using one of the Rectangle Infinity Dies. The fireplace from the set was then stamped using Intense Black Ink. On a separate piece of cardstock, I stamped the bunny and the squirrel images. These were all coloured using Copic Markers. The bunny and squirrel were then cut out using the coordinating dies.
I stamped the sentiment from the main My Monthly Hero kit below the fireplace and then added the bunny and squirrel with foam tape. The image panel was then adhered to a white card base with more foam tape.
