Today we're delighted to have Debi Adams here to share some fabulous "beyond the kit" ideas for a few of the add-ons.

Hey friends! Happy Wednesday and happy launch week! As many of you know by now, our NEW collection for this month is about "cooking" up some creativity! Even though I’m not necessarily a cook, I found all the designs inspiring and uplifting and a great way to send some sweet notes to a special friend or two. Today I am featuring several of our add-on sets. I love how many of the designs can be used together to add to the theme and style.

My inspiration for both cards was the natural look I see in so many homes today. The neutrals combined with black and white, create a clean, organic style.

This first card uses the Buffalo Check Pattern Bold Prints stamp with Intense Black ink to create the background. The new Kitchen Tools and Kitchen Crocks Fancy Dies were cut from different colors of cardstock then paired with a stamped, die-cut, and colored Olive Branch set using Copic markers. To add a bit more green to the card, I die-cut one of the Bottle & Cork Infinity Dies and colored it to look like olive oil. The sentiment stamped in Moss Bold Hybrid ink completed the trio of green. Tip: To create a bit of light on the crock, I lightly brushed Sea Salt Reactive ink on the center of the pot then set it with my heat tool. You could also use regular white chalk to achieve the same look.

My next card involved stamping the Olive Branch onto Pitch Black cardstock using Sea Salt Reactive ink. (Make sure to heat set it when done). The die-cut bottle was created from olive green cardstock and embellished with the stamped, die-cut, and Copic-colored, Olive Branch. A red heart from the Nesting Hearts Infinity Dies, and a sentiment stamped inside a circle made for an easy, peasy card.

Any way you look at these designs, they’re sure to be a perfect fit to make someone’s day. Cannot wait to see what sets you choose and what you create!

XO,
