Create a Custom Birthday Card with Number Candles

Hi everyone! Ilina here! Today I am sharing a super fun birthday card using the new Number Candles stamp set and coordinating dies along with the Birthday Stamp & Cut XL and the Birthday Balloons Bold Prints.

To make the card, start by stamping the number candles and flames on watercolor paper using Intens-ified Black ink. Then watercolor the numbers and die cut. Apply Sparkle Clear Lacquer Pen on the candles and flames and set it aside to dry.

While the candles are drying, die cut "Happy Birthday" three times from Pitch Black Cardstock. Adhere the three die cuts together to create a sturdy dimensional word.

Cut a panel of Dove White Cardstock measuring 4" x 5 1/4" and stamp the Birthday Balloons Bold prints using Soft Pool Shadow Ink. Adhere the die cut sentiment and the number candles to the balloon panel. Then add a scattering of enamel dots that coordinate with the colors of the candles. Using craft foam, or any other dimensional adhesive, adhere the panel to a top folding card base made from Pitch Black cardstock.

Thank you so much for stopping by -- I hope you have an amazing day!

Gorgeous card.
I love the number candles and what you can do with them.
Thank you so much for sharing, stay safe and have a wonderful day.

Henriëtte Mulder,

The number candles creation is wonderful. Like how the soft look of the balloon background looks. I ordered the candles stamp/die but not the balloon bold print.

Hello there, Michelle Short here to share a step-by-step tutorial using the Snowflake Background Etched Dies from the Lisa Horton Snowflake Kisses Collection.
