Today we're delighted to have Debi Adams here to share some fabulous “beyond the kit” ideas for a few of the add-ons.

Hello my friends! I'm Debi Adams and I am thrilled to be bringing you two new cards using the NEW My Monthly Hero add-ons. Oh, there are so many fantastic designs this month but I have to say, I think this swan is a favorite! I have a granddaughter and I think I am going to have to tag all her packages with this pretty little thing. I also adore these layered Christmas trees too! They appear to have a Scandinavian-feel to them which makes for EASY application. The clean lines and details make them look way more complex than they really are. Both cards have beautiful inside artistry and there’s easily more than a hundred ways to make them. Here is my take…

Look at all the features in this crowned beauty. I love her crown, her bowed head and her elegance. I cut her twice, once from Dove White cardstock and another from gold poster board. I layered them together with just a bit of the gold peeking out and adhered them to the gray card base with foam dots. Then I used the swirly inside pieces from the swan to add to the "snow" below. A stamped, gold-embossed sentiment completed the card.

And these three trees...ah, you can embellish them as little or as much as you like. I die-cut two of them directly onto a Dove White cardstock card front while the middle tree was cut out separately. The trees in the foreground were layered onto Nautical cardstock and mounted onto a side-folded, Dove White card base. The main tree was set onto Kiwi cardstock with a few of the details cut from Mustard and Pumpkin cardstock. The sentiment was stamped and embossed and added to the card.

I ordered the kit. Can I add to it after submitting order? Thinking I want some add-ons and then hope I win the prize so I can get more later?
