We are back with another look at the October My Monthly Hero release! The kit will be available on Monday, October 2nd at 1pm Eastern/10 am Pacific. Now let’s join Clare, who is sharing another look at this fabulous kit.
The new kit has so many possibilities, between the stamps and the dies, that it may seem overwhelming. As many places as this kit can take you, today I decided to go the one-layer route.
I stamped all the images in Black, except for the tracks, which were stamped in Soft Granite. Coloring was kept simple, as I only used three colors – light gray, dark gray and red.
I made several cards with the kit, but this was the first, as I had to take it slow and easy to keep myself from getting overwhelmed by all the possibilities.

Love that you can make this cute card so easily….it would be great for making multiples to send out.
I like this simple approach! I need something simple for mass-producing cards this season!
The train brings back Christmas past when family members would take out the train and set it up. When the lights were on the train went round and round…..would love to make Christmas cards with this fabulous set…….and kit!
