October My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea # 5 + Giveaway!

MMH Countdown to Creativity

Welcome to Day 3 of our Countdown to Creativity, leading up to the launch of our October My Monthly Hero kit on Monday, October 3rd at 1pm eastern! Let’s see what May made with this month’s kit!

I know that October My Monthly Hero Kit includes some amazing products that are perfect for creating a snow globe shaker card. However, I wanted to share a different way to use the kit today.

To create a winter scene with snow falling from the night sky, I watercolored my background with 4 shades of blue and added ink splatters using Unicorn White Spray on the background.

After stamping the sentiment in black on a white semi-circle panel, I mounted the circle on the bottom of my card using foam tape. Then I stamped my images from the kit, die cut and popped them up along the curved panel using foam tape.

By the way, I sponged white ink on the watercolor background using sponge dauber and white ink pad to create a glow of the street lamp.

Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post! We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from all of the comments left across all countdown posts, and announce the winner first thing Monday morning, October 3, before the kit launches at 1pm eastern. The more you comment, the more chances to win!

Thanks so much for stopping by this morning! Be sure to check out another countdown post later today!
