Perfect Pair

Today I'm featuring the hero_product_link sku="LP403" text="Nature Mini Tub by Lia"] stamps. I picked out a couple different designs and had fun creating a background using hero_product_link sku="AF236" text="Hero Arts Shadow Ink - Charcoal"].

TIP: I get the best results when I hold the stamps in one hand, rubber side up. I hold the ink pad in my other hand and pat the ink onto the rubber.

Since the background images are so petite, I went with a skinny card at 3 inches wide and 5 1/2 inches tall. My card stock base is hero_product_link sku="PS697" text="Midnight Mixed Layering Paper"]. I wanted to include a pop of color so I used the hero_product_link sku="CL835" text="Stamp Your Own Fruit"] set. I stamped the pear on watercolor paper with hero_product_link sku="AF272" text="Chalkboard Dye Ink"]. I love that it is waterproof! I used my Zig Clean Color Markers on the image.

To add a bit of interest, I added a strip of hero_product_link sku="PS621" text="Sunshine Mixed Layering Paper"] to the hero_product_link sku="PS697" text="Midnight Mixed Layering Paper"]. As always, I had to add a bit of zing to the design with a strip of gold glitter cardstock.

I love designing skinny cards because the designs can easily spill over the edge and still fit into the A2 envelope!
