Saturdays with Sally - on a Sunday!

Hi friends! Due to technical difficulties, Sally's post is on a Sunday, but whatever day she's here, we're happy to have her sharing her creativity!

Hello You!!!!

When I think of Pop Art I think of BRIGHT colors! Like Andy Warhol neon-like portraits!! So today I am presenting you with a few ideas with the new Pop Art Flowers and Pop Art Flowers Frame Cuts. Gather your colorful paper scraps and let’s create!! I stamped a very light background with Novel Prose Bold Prints on a white card to begin. Next add whatever message you want. I chose HELLO for the first card. Now the fun begins! I chose very Palm Springs colors of cardstock to stamp my flowers - Pumpkin, Papaya, Mustard, Paradise, Adriatic. I have always loved tone on tone stamping, so I used inks very similar to the paper tones. Die cut your shapes and begin layering your flowers and arranging as you wish. Add enamel dots for an accent.

HELLO YOU was done in the same fashion with my signature colors pink and orange. I added in some Azalea cardstock for that card.

For the little thank you tag, I tried stamping the large flower in black on Azalea for a different, more vibrant look. I added a button with floss to change it up, too. I know you can be creative with all your treasures stashed away.

Before I go, I also wanted to share a reminder about the fundraising effort from Hero Arts, with the Support Ukraine category including a selection of products with all net profit going to the Ukranian Red Cross. I created a couple quick cards using the inks in the category - Dandelion and Indigo.

Thanks for stopping by today,
