Sending a Smile

Hi everyone! Ilina here. Today I am sharing a card using the From the Vault Etched Serene Sun stamp and the Smile Stamp & Cut set.

To make the card I started with a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Dove White cardstock and stamped the sun using Lemon Drop and Creamsicle Reactive Inks. I inked the stamp with the Lemon Drop ink, then using a sponge dauber I applied Creamsicle ink in the middle. Stamped onto the cardstock panel and while the ink was still wet embossed with Ultra Fine Clear embossing powder. Set it aside.

Die cut the "smile" sentiment once from Canary cardstock and twice from Papaya. Layer them together so that the Papaya ones will be stacked on top of each other, but the Canary will be offset a little to create a "shadow." Let it dry.

In the meantime stamp "Sending A" using Intense Black Ink. Adhere the "Smile" die cut and adhere the entire panel onto a Dove White top folding card using fun foam to add some dimension.

Thank you so much for stopping by and hope you have a creative day!

Beautiful card! I know I have that sun from the original release. Time for me to dig it out. It is pretty close by since I am obsessed with suns…i’ve been drawing my own suns lately.
