Shakin' Things Up for the Holidays!

Are you working on your holiday cards? Do you prefer the traditional or non-traditional look? I'm a huge fan of using non-traditional colors.

Today I'm featuring the 3-part Ornament Frame Cut. I used one of the dies from the set and teamed it up with an Oval Nesting Infinity Die to make a shaker ornament. I love how the Frost Sequin Mix looks.

Don't you love that sentiment? It has been heat embossed in white. The Off-Beat Holiday Messages set is a must-have for those of you who love funny sentiments!

My watercolored panel uses Distress Oxide inks and has been finished off with black specks of paint.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

What a fun card Amy! Love that you turned that shaker element into a useable ornament!

Celeste Goff,

your “Non-traditional colors” are wonderful with the backdrop, too. Love the quote!

Barbara-Jean,

I love non-traditional colors, too. These are lovely. Of course, I adore that it’s a shaker since they’re my fave type of card.

Becca Yahrling,

I love that sentiment! It made me LOL
I prefer traditional colors, but enjoy seeing everyone’s creative ideas.

Lisa Vashaw,

Amy, love love love this holiday card.

Hello there, Michelle Short here to share a step-by-step tutorial using the Snowflake Background Etched Dies from the Lisa Horton Snowflake Kisses Collection.
