Simple Block Background

Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I'm sharing a quick and easy card featuring the Olive Branch stamp set and the Small Distressed Block wood block stamp. This wood block stamp is perfect for this month's Stay Crafty With A Blog Named Hero "It's Hip to be Square" challenge!

You can read all about the challenge here and enter by September 4.

I started off by stamping the Small Distressed Block in Mist Core Ink towards the bottom right of a 4.25" x 5.5" panel of Deluxe Smooth White cardstock. Then I rotated the stamp and stamped another square in Butter Bar Core Ink towards the top left of the panel, making sure to overlap the first block.

Next, I stamped the large olive branch and sentiment in Onyx Pigment Ink. After the pigment ink was dry, I adhered the card front to a top-folding card base to finish off this easy card.

Thanks so much for visiting!
