Soft Snowflakes

Hello there, Michelle here. Today I have a card using the new Stacking Snowflakes stamp set, along with the Delicate Snowflakes Bold Prints that are add-ons for the October My Monthly Hero Kit.

I started off by die cutting a white panel. I cut a panel of white cardstock to 4.25" x 5.5" and then using a Nesting Oval Infinity Die (I used the largest size), I partially die a rounded edge at the bottom of the panel. I took the Stacking Snowflakes set and stamped one of the larger snowflakes in to the middle with Soft Purple Shadow Ink. I then took one of the smaller ones and stamped this in to the centre with Soft Pool Shadow Ink. I stamped the sentiments on top with Intense Black Ink. I love that the sentiments are separate so you can mix and match your own greeting.

I took a panel of aqua cardstock and stamped the Delicate Snowflake Bold Prints on to it with Versamark Ink. I applied clear Ultra Fine Embossing Powder and heat set. I took an ink blending tool and blended Soft Pool Shadow Ink on to it, concentrating the colour at the bottom and the edges. The panel was added to a white A2 card base and then the greeting panel added on top with foam tape.

I love using pastel colours for Christmas cards, how about you? Thank you so much for visiting today, happy stamping!
