Sparkly Heat Embossing

Good morning! Jess here with a bright and sparkly tropical card using the beautiful Beach Frame Fancy Die add-on from our June My Monthly Hero release! The die was super popular on release day and is already sold out but it WILL be restocked!

I absolutely adore using Sparkle Embossing Powder over ink blended backgrounds. The sparkle really amps up the beautiful colors and gives a card the wow factor! To start I blended Grape Juice, Orchid, Rose Madder, Tangerine, and Dandelion ink onto a piece of Snow Layering Paper. I blasted it with my heat gun to dry the ink and then pressed a Versamark pad all over the background. I heat-embossed it with Sparkle Embossing Powder and then repeated the process for even more sparkle!

Isn't that sparkle yummy?! I LOVE it!!

Next I kept the rest of the card pretty simple! I die-cut the Beach Frame Fancy Die with from Midnight Layering Papers and adhered it over the sparkly background. Then I stamped the sentiment from Birthday Messages onto black cardstock with Versamark and heat-embossed it with White Detail Embossing Powder. I trimmed it down to a thin label and adhered it to the card with foam mounting tape to finish the card. I love how the sparkly background enhances that gorgeous die! Perfect for a tropical paradise sunset! ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a fabulous day!
