Stealing My Heart

Hello! Caly here today with a card using the Stealing My Heart set. It's a fun and clever Valentine's set and I've focused on reds, pinks and grays to highlight the heart-stealing bandit.

I started by stamping the images with Intense Black ink and coloring the images using Copic markers (R00, R43, R08, E30, E31, E40, E41, E50, C0, C2, C4, C6, C6, C8). When I was done coloring, I die-cut the images using the coordinating Stealing My Heart Frame Cuts.

To create the card front, I used a heart die-cut from the Nested Hearts Infinity Dies to cut a heart in the upper 1/3 of a piece of light pink cardstock. I then used Strawberry hybrid ink to ink-blend around the die-cut heart and the heart from the center of the card front. I created texture on the inner heart by spritzing it with Pink Metallic Mist.

To add dimension, I added foam tape to the negative space but adhered the center heart directly to a cardbase. I tucked in the die-cut safe and added the love bandit on top using more foam tape to bring him to the height of the rest of the card.

The sentiment is then stamped in the center at the bottom in black ink to complete this card. I hope you enjoyed this project and thank you for stopping by today!
